THE GATHERING Singer Guests On LAWN CD

THE GATHERING frontwoman Anneke van Giersbergen has recorded a guest appearance for the new CD from Dutch post-rockers LAWN. A release party for the album, titled "Backspace", will take place on October 24 at Vera in Groningen, Holland and Anneke will join the group on stage to perform the track live. In other news, THE GATHERING's cover of DEAD CAN DANCE's "In Power We Entrust The Love Advocated", which originally appeared on their "Kevin's Telescope" CD, will be included on the forthcoming DEAD CAN DANCE tribute album being released in late 2003/early 2004 through Greece's Black Lotus Records. Other acts set to appear on the CD include ULVER, ANTIMATTER, FAITH AND THE MUSE and DAN LILKER.
